As of March 1, 2013, Escambia County, Florida households making $35k or less qualify for the FREE spay or neuter.
To apply come to one of our Application Stations. See the calendar page for date/times/locations. You can also go directly to the Escambia County Animal Shelter at 200 W Fairfield Dr in Pensacola to sign up.

Starting on International Homeless Animals' Day (August 18, 2012), FREE spays and neuters will be available to any Escambia County (FL) household earning $35,000 per year or less.  Santa Rosa residents see below.
          
The spay/neuter surgeries are being performed through the Escambia County Low-cost Spay/Neuter Program at the Animal Shelter located at 200 West Fairfield Dr, Pensacola, FL.  A local animal group, Pet Come Home, was awarded a $25k grant from the Florida Animal Friends License Plate Grant Program, for the spay/neuter surgeries.  The FREE spay/neuters will only be available as long as the $25k lasts = 1,000+ surgeries.  DO NOT DELAY!!!
